HSE24 chooses icoya OpenContent as central Intranet platform
Ismaning/Stuttgart, April 26, 2004 – struktur AG announces that Home Shopping Europe AG Germany (HSE24) has chosen icoya OpenContent as the central solution for managing internal information. icoya OpenContent (www.icoya.de) gives HSE24 occasion to record, manage, and pass on documents and information. The Intranet will be installed as a daily work tool and internal communication platform for more than 400 employees of the multi-media company.
For HSE24, icoya OpenContent is the information center, in which documents and data are managed. Every employee receives access to work related documents, company contacts, and communication addresses. Available material especially includes documentation of organization and processes. With icoya OpenContent, HSE24 digitizes several, so far, paper-supported work procedures such as providing operating instructions, templates, and forms. Finally, by publishing daily news, the Intranet at HSE24 fulfills a central communication function between the company and it’s employees. Through the fast, targeted, and mobile access to all information, HSE24 reduces costs in both time and money.
Michael Wegscheider, Project Leader at HSE24, expresses his satisfaction with the new Intranet and the cooperation with struktur AG: “By choosing icoya OpenContent and struktur AG, we’ve achieved the perfect combination of functionality, acceptance, and business aspects. The fact that icoya OpenContent, a SAP-certified system, seamlessly binds with the SAP Enterprise Portal, gives us, together with the open technology, the highest degree of investment security. Already today, we see distinctly that the initial investment results in a reduction of financial, personnel, and time expenditures and, therefore, already shortly after the project completion, is profitable for HSE24.”
